Pale straw in colour, with golden nuances. The bouquet shows a really serious expression of Sauvignon Blanc from Hannes Storm that is loaded with quince, tropical yellow fruits, gooseberry and a hint of green mango peel. Creamy and mineral with super concentration on the palate. Structured, with ripe yellow fruit, citrus and herb notes on the finish.

Wild Air is a collaboration project involving Hannes Storm of Storm Wines. The fruit comes from a small 0.5 hectare plot of 20-year-old Sauvignon Blanc vines planted in the Ignis vineyard, in the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. Inspired by the more restrained, textural styles of Sauvignon Blanc, the wine is barrel-fermented in old 228-litre French oak barrels and matured for 6 months on lees. This is an outstanding white with a tiny production.
