Urlar Pinot Gris

Pale straw in colour with golden hues. The bouquet shows aromas of spicy sweet pear, honeysuckle and stone fruit overlaying a generous mouth feel of great weight and depth. The creamy texture on the palate provides the backbone to a long and complex finish.

Hailing from Scotland, Angus Thomson is a 5th generation farmer, descending from a family of distillers. He and his wife simply fell in love with New Zealand and so packed up their three young children to put down roots here. Loving the beautiful stony soils of Gladstone in the Wairarapa, they quickly turned their dreams into reality with the help of renowned winemaker and viticulturist, Guy McMaster.
