Ruby red in colour. The bouquet is fresh, it opens with aromas of juicy red cherries. Youthful with a soft, approachable structure that is given depth by the partial drying process, this is a well-balanced with lovely bitter cherry notes on the finish.

Cantina Valpantena is named after Valpantena, a valley northeast of Verona, traditionally known as a wine-growing region. It is located in the heart of the Veneto, one of Italy's most important wine producing regions. Valpantena's field of activity extends over the well-known trio of origins from the Verona area: Soave, Bardolino and Valpolicella. The latter can be seen as a specialty. Very interesting Amarone and Ripasso wines are made from this appellation. Cantina Valpantena has been active here since 1958. A cooperative established by approximately 250 different Verona winegrowers with approximately 600 hectares of vineyards. The Valpantena winery is able to fully exploit all the excellent qualities of the grapes and olives supplied by its members.
