The Marlborist Grande Sauvignon

The Marlborist Grande Sauvignon is a bold departure from the classic Marlborough style. Fermented entirely with naturally occurring yeast in a mixture of old French oak barrels and puncheons, it is an alternative style of Sauvignon Blanc with an alluring array of golden-flesh peaches, candied pineapple and melon with hints of elderflower and brioche. This is a moreish wine with a rich, creamy palate underpinned by a long, citrus finish.

Nestled between the snow capped Southern Alps and the Pacific Ocean, at the top of New Zealand’s South Island, this is our home, the place where we have built our knowledge and honed our craft, working for some of the regions’ pioneers. Wa are The Marlborist. Our amition is to share our love of place through our wines. Each bottle will open a window to the elements of Marlborough that we’re lucky enough to experience, everyday.
