It expresses the maximum intensity on the bouquet, finesse, elegance and harmony generated by our terroir. Notes of fresh red fruits, raspberries, cassis and truffles accompanied by delicate spicy hints. Its oak aging brings aromas of coffee and chocolate amalgamated with fruity notes typical of this varietal of San Pablo Estate. The palate is intense, with sweet and elegant tannins. A long finish, hard to forget. A wine that represents the art of precision from the vineyard to glass.

Tapiz is one of Argentina’s most technologically advanced wineries, and boasts some of Mendoza’s finest and highest estate vineyards. Winemaker Fabian Valenzuela creates a beautiful tapiz (tapestry) between the wine's intense, high- altitude fruit and its oak aging, creating a family of full-bodied wines that beautifully complement food. Patricia Ortiz is the owner and President, and Carlos Correas is the Vineyard Manager. Tapiz Winery develops its wines using grapes which come from a group of carefully selected vineyards located in Mendoza and Salta, with altitudes ranging from 3000 to 4400 feet high. Flanked by the imposing Andes mountain range, these vineyards are subjected to unique bio - climatic characteristics, thus making it a unique terroir for winemaking. Tapiz winery selects grapes from historic vineyards known as the first zone located in Agrelo, Tupungato, Ugarteche and Maipú, in Mendoza, the most important and extensive wine region from Argentina and one of the major wine regions of South America.
