Stoneleigh Sauvignon Blanc

Pale straw in colour. The bouquet displays passion fruit and white fleshed nectarine aromatics with a hint of grapefruit. The palate shows balance with ripe passion fruit flavours and complex minerality balanced by a tight and refreshing acidity on the finish.

Situated within the Rapaura sub-region, Stoneleigh vineyards are studded with precious stones. Once the bed of an ancient river, today they form the floor of our vineyard. We call them sunstones. During the day, the sunstones reflect the brilliant Marlborough sunshine up into the vines and grapes. These sunstones capture heat throughout the day and release it on to the vines to help develop rich unique flavours for the wine, often with tropical aromas. It’s why we dedicate over 23 hectares to biodiversity projects and a further 8 hectares to regenerative land. It’s why we proudly support the native falcon, and let local beekeepers keep their hives in our vineyards. It’s also why we use 100% sustainably sourced grapes.
