Impenetrable inky black heart and a very deep dark red black hue. Soaring out of the glass with tremendous potency are blackberry, dark plum and liquorice scents. Notes of dark chocolate, vanillin oak, subtle earthy mocha and spice add complexity. Exceptionally deep and concentrated with a super plush feel, the full bodied palate is soaked with cascading waves of rich dark plum, blackberry and liquorice fruits. Lightly toasted vanillin oak, mocha, earthy fennel and spice characters ensue. Silky smooth tannins have a cashmere like feel and are seamlessly integrated. Outstanding length finishing with an absolute power house of flavour and Barossa’s hallmark opulence.
