A delicate straw colour. An immediately enticing and familiar bouquet, engaging autolysis with brioche and baked goods aromas, stone fruits and apple lemon moments. Crisp, refreshing, salivating and dry. Flavours of white fleshed tree fruits and citrus and firm tightly wound bubble invade the palate. Balanced and well made with a vibrant and cleansing finish.

The climate of north-eastern Tasmania is certainly cool with many similarities to some of the great winemaking regions of Europe. The Tamar Ridge vineyard was established by Josef Chromy in 1994 when a decision to establish a vineyard in the West Tamar region was made. In its first two years in the market, Tamar Ridge Wines have made some major strides in establishing its reputation as a producer of premium wines. A string of wine show successes and glowing reviews from the Australian wine media provide ample reinforcement that the winemaking team are getting it right.
