Garnet red in colour with purplish hues. The bouquet is a succulent and savoury, showing dark cherry, chocolate and cloves with hints of dried herbs and forest floor. The palate brings a juicy core of dark fruit berry fruit and fine savoury tannins which give structure and length on the finish.

Between us, we’ve had a lot of good luck, but more importantly we have been persistent, hard working and sometimes a little bit stubborn. Faith in our instincts combined with calculated risk have led to some beautiful moments of inspiration. There are conventions we are taught as winemakers, we don't allow ourselves to be defined by them. We like to allow the fruit to define our decisions when making the wine. Our style has been guided by Philip’s experience and now Daniel's. Wine that expresses a varietal, relates to a place and has subtly, depth and complexity. Wisdom and expertise exists in the space between the scientific process and an intuition steeped in decades of experience. This leads us to a level of distinction in our winemaking process.
