Pale straw in colour with golden hue. The bouquet shows nuances of green fruits such as kiwi, lime, fresh gooseberry and even some kaffir lime leaf. Herbaceous notes of grass and balm complement the bouquet. The palate, starts wonderfully concentrated, vibrancy, wonderful depth, but not over-extracted, this Zeter glides over the palate. The finish shows hints of fruitiness and mineral nuances.

Oliver Zeter was born into a family of wine importers, and at first that's what he did too. But a trip to South Africa saw Oliver fall in love with the elegance and vivacity of Sauvignon Blanc and with the role of winemaker. He returned to the Pfalz and persuaded his cousins to lend him 4 hectares of vineyards, and so his estate began. There he has planted Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier (he likes to “swim against the current”), Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir. Right from the get-go in 2007, he has won awards. His aim is to produce wines that 'dance the tightrope between the styles of the New and Old Worlds'. The drinking bear that adorns the label comes from the quill of a well known Pfalz artist named Otto Dill, a friend of Oliver’s great grandfather Walter Baer. On one occasion in 1933 Walter was unable to meet his friends for a regular 'glass of wine or two' and the artist sent the sketch on a postcard to his friend Walter the 'bear', and the postcard was signed by all the friends present that day.
