Mappinga Hill Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw in colour with a watery hue. The bouquet shows fresh peach, apricot and honeysuckle aromas emerge with hints of spicy nougat in the background. Fleshy and vibrant the fruit driven palate sports ripe peach, melon, citrus nougat and delicate spice notes. Finishes with a lick of crisp acidity and fruitiness.

Stepping Stone Vineyards is a joint project between cult natural wine producer Xavier Goodridge and natural wine importer, Les Caves de Pyrène. The key mantra for this range came from Xavier, who wanted to demonstrate that wines made from these regions with great care and attention to sustainability can still make it, using organic farming methods that are employed throughout.
