MA Arndorfer, Vorgeschmack White

Beautifully golden-yellow in colour. An Austrian 'field blend' of Gruner Veltliner and Riesling with a savoury bouquet showing peppery spice, white flower aromas and lemon & clementine. The palate brings fresh, mineral and gently aromatic notes. Lots of spice and pip fruit, but a racy finish. Apples and pears meet lemon and lime? What’s not to like?

Martin Arndorfer comes from a long line of winemakers and grew up around the cellar and vineyards of his parent’s estate. Anna Steninger is the daughter of one of the most respected winemakers in Austria, Karl Steninger, together they appear to have been born with a natural understanding and love for Riesling and Grüner Veltliner grapes. Martin and Anna believe that winemakers are artisans; their work requires creativity, sensitivity and a huge amount of personality. They have made it their task to produce wines that unite origin and passion, wines that arouse curiosity in the wine world across the globe. They produce wine with pleasure and for pleasure. As they put it, ‘our wines are the best representatives of what and who we are. They carry our thoughts, our origin and our journeys; they reflect our personality, craft and history.’
