Ruby red in colour. The bouquet shows ripe black fruit, huge varietal expression, freshness and succulence, silky, spicy, balsamic and mineral notes, nuances, exceptional texture and vibrant acidity. The palate is balanced with a fine cocoa and smoked notes, elegance and depth but with an easy drinking style. Supple and juicy with hints of spice and fresh on the finish.

Losada is amongst the top estates in Bierzo, north-western Spain. Bierzo is famous for producing some of Spain’s most elegant and complex reds from the native Mencía grape variety, and Losada is one of the greatest exponents of the style. Complexity and elegance are the grassroots of the Losada Vinos de Finca project, where, in addition to the conscientious selection of vineyards in order to express the true character of the region, the grapes belonging to each individual estate are handled independently at the Bodega. Furthermore, the ageing process is regarded as a means of adding complexity and nuances to the wine, increasing its longevity. All of which is geared towards expressing the terroir of El Bierzo, with the greatest authenticity possible.
