Pale vibrant lemon in colour with green hues. The bouquet is fresh and lively, with gorgeous citrus notes, a touch of almond and fragrant thyme. The palate brings notes of dried leaves but excellent depth, apples – green ones in this case, Granny Smiths? – but that throws up a bunch of herbal edged, citrus notes on the finish.

Tetramythos is a certified organic winery, located in the protected Natura region of Mount Helmos, in North-western Peloponnese. The vineyards are cultivated organic in a mountainous altitude from 650 up to 1050 meters above sea level and among the highest and coldest wine regions of Greece. The high altitude, the cool sea breeze of the Corinthian Gulf and the complex limestone soils offer the grapes vivid natural acidity and a distinctive mineral finish. The grape varieties are indigenous Greek along with some international, all hand-picked, with most significant the white Roditis and the very local Black of Kalavryta. Tetramythos produces minimal intervention, terroir-driven wines reflecting the quality and the elegance of Aigialeia slopes.
