Golden peach in colour with a vibrant bouquet of cherries, blueberries, almonds and earthy spice. A delicate yet complex palate abounds with red berry, yellow stone fruit and hints of brioche. A great balance with a long and slightly salty finish.

The foundations for our success were laid in 1983 when Graham Beck purchased Madeba, a farm located outside the Western Cape town of Robertson. It was his ambition to establish a world-class winery in this area that saw the erection of a state-of-the-art cellar and ground-breaking tasting facility. The success of the Robertson estate prompted the acquisition of a second property in the breath-taking Franschhoek Valley where our talented team created wines of world class distinction and broad appeal. This property has subsequently changed proprietorship and Graham Beck Wines has embarked on an exciting new chapter of wine evolution. Born in Cape Town, Graham demonstrated his entrepreneurial skills whilst studying commerce at the University of Cape Town. During this time he established a successful home renovation business called Kangra – still the name of our holding company today. Graham then ventured into the coal mining business, where he achieved numerous successes. Graham’s love of horses and racing led to a number of successful stud operations throughout the world. The Beck family continues to generously invest their time, energy and funds in the future success and growth of South Africa. Through their example social development and community upliftment remain core values of the brand. They say great wines are made in the vineyard. Nothing could be truer of the superb calibre of fruit from our two premier Stellenbosch sites – highlighting our aim to constantly raise the bar in terms of quality and consistency. This winning combination of terroir characteristics produce the building blocks with which we create wines that continue to wow palates from Cape Town to Copenhagen.
