Golden straw in colour. The citrus aromas of the Assyrtiko grapes combined with the floral aromas of the acacia wood and the vanilla of the oak result to a wine with a highly complex aromatic profile. Minerality and well-balanced acidity give depth and longevity. The layers of wild ferment envelop this precise and dry wine which has mineral notes that soften the finish, bringing nuanced flavours of fruit and honey.

The Ammonite symbol. The fossil of the Aegean Sea, whispering the ancient secrets of the Greek land, has travelled throughout the world carrying with it the name of Gaia Wines, along with Agiorgitiko and Assyrtiko. The homeland of our vineyard, located at an altitude of 250 to 850m, offers a unique variability in soil and climate conditions within the PDO area of Nemea. The winery was built in 1997 at the heart of the private vineyard in Koutsi Nemea, with a capacity of 3.060 hectoliters. The two vineyards of Gaia, in Santorini and Koutsi of Nemea, are typical examples of harmonious 'cooperation' of soil and climate for the benefit of even the most demanding wine lovers. In both areas, the chosen location, the soil characteristics, the climatic conditions, the humidity and temperature levels, are treated with respect but also the attention required for varieties such as Assyrtiko and Agiorgitiko, to perform their best.
