Equiano subtly delivers tropical warmth. The bouquet is initially rich, with notes of raisins and Scottish toffee, then particularly sweet around soft caramel, vanilla and pastry aromas. The palate offers all the natural sweetness of a rum aged in American white oak barrels that have contained Bourbon, we find aromas of soft caramel, raisins and brown sugar. Everything is balanced and comes to caress the taste buds as the tasting progresses. The finish is complex and suave with lovely woody notes, a touch of anise and dried citrus fruits (bitter orange peel, candied lemon).

Equiano is the first African and Caribbean rum in the world. This multi-award winning aged rum is one of the best rums in the world in the 8-12 year old category, having won gold in all major international competitions.
