El Hato y El Garabato Otro Cuento

Golden greenish yellow in colour. It is bottled without clarifying and may present natural sediments. The bouquet is very expressive, complex with mineral aromas from its granite terroir, aromas of stone fruit, flowers and mountains accompanied by creamy aromas of bakery and butter derived from a short aging in barrels. Long and fresh on the palate, with an excellent depth, finishing with mineral and fruity notes.

The El Hato y el Garabato winery is located in the Arribes del Duero Natural Park within the Meseta Ibérica Biosphere Reserve in the area where the Duero becomes the border between Spain and Portugal. Here we manage 8 hectares of old vines (between 80 and 120 years old) and we have our small winery in an old restored farmhouse. We are a tiny winery with a family team, producing a few bottles allows us to work directly in the process, from the vineyard to the bottle, in an artisan way, taking care of each step with our hands. Low intervention, without additions or technology, organic, respecting varieties and tradition, in constant innovation and with personality. Little analytics, lots of intuition.
