El Dorado 8 Year Old Rum

Dark amber in colour. The bouquet shows orange, lemon and grapefruit peels, stewed rhubarb and pear with a hint of vanilla., currants, raisins, dates, quince. Cinnamon, tea, brazil nuts and charred wood overlaying a background molasses characteristic. Ripe bananas, candied orange, all spice, ginger bread. The finish is smooth and mellow. Fades away cleanly leaving a citrus, nutty finish. Long, smoky fruit, light spicy notes, great depth.

The El Dorado range of rums, often referred to as the "Liquid Gold of Guyana", are outstanding examples of the Demerara style.
