El Dorado 3 Year Old Rum

Clear in colour. The bouquet shows vibrant aromas of toasted meringue, coconut custard, hazelnut cream, and malted milk chocolate toffee follow through on a silky soft entry to a dryish palate with nice sugar cane, molasses, and honey roasted nut notes. Finishes with a long, grassy, earth sugar cane, mineral, and custard fade. Excellent depth and character on the finish.

The El Dorado range of rums, often referred to as the "Liquid Gold of Guyana", are outstanding examples of the Demerara style. The distillery has the facilities to produce every type of rum and has assured supplies of its basic raw material, molasses, from locally-grown sugar-cane.
