Doorly’s 12 Year Old Rum

Coppery red / brown colour. The bouquet shows aromas of tropical fruit, hints of banana, caramel / toffee, vanilla and fortified wine notes from the barrels it is finished in. There are hints of leather and tobacco too. The flavours are bold and rich with definite aged in Oloroso Sherry casks. The palate is full with a viscous mouthfeel. There are more flavours of caramel, baking spices (cinnamon, nutmeg), citrus / orange peel and buttery oak. The finish is warming, long and the finish is not overly sweet.
