Pale gold in colour. The bouquet shows floral fragrances mixed with yellow fruit aromas and honey. Refreshing mineral note on a hint of smoke. Linear, well-structured and well-crafted palate bringing a very pure aromatic combination and elegant oak notes. Good persistence on the finish.

Founded in 1750, Chanson is one of the five grand 'shippers' of Burgundy's Côte d'Or, an estate steeped in centuries-old tradition and rich in viticultural history. As a négociant and a Domaine, Chanson has represented the best of Burgundy for more than 250 years, growing its own grapes, partnering with other growers, bottling, selling, and shipping its own wines. Chanson's holdings comprise some of Burgundy's most coveted vineyards (over 90 acres, including 10 Premier Crus, one Grand Cru (Corton), and a rare monopole Premier Cru vineyard. A series of extensive improvements and developments have taken place at Domaine Chanson since the purchase by the Bollinger family in the late 1990s now making it one of the most respected domaines in Beaune under the expert guidance of Gilles de Courcel. An impressive proportion of the domaine is now farmed organically despite not being certified. The Chanson wines continue to gain impressive recognition from the most discerning global audience that knows and understands Burgundy.
