Casa Valduga Terroir Pinot Noir

Ruby red in colour, bright and translucent. a complex bouquet reminiscent of ripe fruits such as cherry and strawberry combined with aromas of quince and notes attributed by the oak. The expression of Pinot Noir comes through on the palate with notes of anise, tobacco and a light touch of menthol. Soft tannins and varietal characteristics that are even more evident in the fruity finish.

Founded in 1875, Casa Valduga is one of the oldest winemaking houses in Brazil. Still a family business after six generations, the company now occupies a huge site in the stunning Vale dos Vinhedos. With over a century of history cultivating terroirs in Rio Grande do Sul Casa Valuga is a reference point for the making of fine wines in Brazil. The landscape is of a wild and naïve beauty and is curiously reminiscent of Tuscany – the region from which many Italian immigrants came from. Present in every continent and over 20 countries, Casa Valduga successfully combines tradition and innovation to make their wines. In 2017, Casa Valduga was named as best winery in Brazil by the World Association of Wine Writers and Journalists.
