Deep brassy gold in colour with a gold hue. The bouquet shows powerful aromas of stewed apricot and nectarine are accompanied by undertones of vanilla cream, clove and cinnamon. A mouth-watering Cognac bouquet. Luscious yet off dry palate delivers a burst of dried apricot, Manuka honey, dried coconut and vanillan oak with a spicy lift. Gently tingly mouthfeel with a warm spirit backbone. Good length, turning dry with a subtle finish of Manuka honey, new leather and cedar oak.

Camus are recognized throughout the world for their richness and traditional taste. The Camus’s house is one of the largest owners of the Borderies, an area of production. This is the smallest and most unusual Cognac areas. Its soil gives a very floral brandy. Camus is the 5th largest house in Cognac and the biggest still owned by the founding family (now run by Cyril Camus who is 5th generation). The house was founded in 1863 by Jean-Baptiste Camus where it was started as consortium of small growers. Camus focused its early days on the Russian market and was the sole supply to the Tsar. Camus uses grapes from top cru’s both also have a large share of Fins Boi, Borderies and Bons Bois.
