Bidaia Txakolina Blanco

A vibrant pale yellow in colour with green glints. The bouquet shows intense aromas of lemon, lime and white flowers, ripe tropical fruit which gives complexity and character. Round and mineral on the palate with a crisp balanced acidity and the low alcohol creates a vibrant and mineral finish.

Bidaia meaning 'the journey' in Basque, is the story of Xabi Urruzola & Garazi del Rey; high-school sweethearts who have travelled the world together and ended back in their home of Getariako, Spain. Together, they grow local varietals Hondarabbi Zuri & Hondarabbi Beltza on their 8.5-hectare property, where they make the wine on site. They also own a small restaurant in their 15th century house.
