Pale straw in colour with golden hue. The bouquet is rich, aromas of apple, pear and caramelized pineapple. The palate brings its very own character, juicy fruit, slightly off-dry, elegant, ripe, prominent toasty notes, hints of herbaceous and spice notes. The finish is vibrant and shows depth.

A big part of the basic philosophy of the German Weingut Bibo Runge in Oestrich-Winkel in the Rheingau, a young company founded in 2013 by the ethnologist Walter Bibo and his then business partner Kai Runge - wine is a natural product and the question as to how much nature should be in a good wine is one that has to be answered by every winegrower. Bibo had then worked as an oenologist and cellar master at, among others, Schloss Reinhartshausen in Eltville since 1985, but felt that he wanted to realize his own ideas about making wine. The goal was to make gastronomic and textured wines with a high aromatic profile and great taste depth. In 2017, biotechnologist Markus Bonsels joined Bibo Runge. For Bibo Runge, the path to a good wine leads through the discovery of slowness and patience - with nature, with our wines, for a very special enjoyment. That is why sustainability is also a matter of the heart for us, not only as winemakers. Since 2021, we have been a certified member of FAIR'N GREEN, the sustainability seal in the wine industry.
