Intense red with deep purplish hues. The bouquet shows a textbook Malbec with minty red fruit, while being tense and charming in its herbal tones. This is about dark fruit complexity, lifted by spice notes of clove and nutmeg. The tannins are stunning, fine-grained, giving a beautiful texture on the finish.

Familia Falasco has humble beginnings. In 1939 Octavio Rufino Falasco emigrated from Italy to Argentina to start a wine business. He started by selling wine from 2 demi-johns on his bicycle. Eventually he was able to buy vineyards and over time built a prominent and successful business. Today Familia Falasco are one of the contry's leading producers. Octavio's grandson Jorge oversees the running of this family business. Familia Falasco own over 3000 hectares in some or Mendoza's best grape growing regions; from Maipu to the Uco. The main winery is situated in the town of San Martin, about 20 minutes from the city of Mendoza. Familia Falasco is actually one of Argentina's biggest producers but is still family owned. Not only is there serious quality here but the wines represent some of the best value in the whole of Argentina.
