Bakestone Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon

Garnet red in colour. The bouquet is fruit forward and balanced, bursting with aromas of dark fruits and toasted nuts with hints of blackcurrant and rose petal. The palate shows rich notes of dark cherries, hazelnuts, mocha, and a touch of vanilla leading into a long finish. The tannins are round and smooth.

Throughout Cakebread Cellar's lifetime, the family has been focused on expanding and building up in line with the technology of the time and its own needs. They have also continuously acquired more fields in the area. This preliminary work has laid the groundwork for today's ownership of fields that are large enough for you to make several of your wines as single-field wines.
