Alpha Estate, Axia Xinomavro Syrah

Splendid, purple red in colour. The bouquet is complex, typical bouquet of spices (vanilla, pepper, clove), with hints of ripe blackberry. The palate brings concentrated red with complex aromas of ripe blackberry, spice, vanilla, clove and cracked pepper. Rich, dark fruit flavours, quince and vanilla overtones are complemented by natural freshness. Full rounded tannins, balanced acidity and wood notes. Long and balanced finish.

ALPHA Estate is located at the northwest part of Greece, the Amyndeon, Florina region. Alpha Estate was founded in 1997 by the experienced viticulturist Makis Mavridis and chemist-oenologist Angelos Iatridis, who, after years of experience in various locations of Greece, chose the Amyndeon region to create their masterpieces. Human factor is indispensable to the expression of all elements, privately owned 75ha vineyard in the production of our wines. Main feature of our work is the 'soul' of the people that contribute everyday to this dream.
