Light-gold, very beautiful in colour. Fine, extremely long-lasting mousse. The bouquet shows citrus fruits, mangos, peaches and apricots. A wonderful balance of aromatic strength and the freshness of exotic fruits.

Alfred Gratien is one of the smallest Champagne houses. Current winemaker Nicolas Jaeger comes from a family tradition of cellar masters who have been making Champagne the same way for over 100 years. Rigorous selection of grapes, traditional winemaking methods, voluntarily limited output and respect for the land – these principles and the fact that it is one of the last few remaining ‘hand-crafted’; champagne producers in the world are the secret behind the outstanding quality of Alfred Gratien champagne and the factors which make it unique. Following in the footsteps of his father and his forefathers, he represents the fourth generation to preserve the uniqueness of our champagnes. Every year, he ensures that we have the very best cuvees of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grape varieties. He is meticulous and strict in the way he oversees the fermentation of the wines in traditional wooden casks. Extraordinary champagne has a name: Alfred Gratien.
